Where Cultures Meet

This home has its inspiration rooted in Japanese elements: from the Shoji doors designed and fabricated by a local craftsman to the Tatami Room and the soaking tub in the Master Bathroom. The clients wanted to create a warm home with unique elements, such as the fireplace wall, the "block" bar counter in the kitchen, the various skylight details and the tile designs. The project resulted in a very comfortable home with high function and mindful use of space. (This project was designed by Esin Karliova while working at Remodel West, a Design-Build Company.)
