Carving out more Space

When adding more square footage to the back of the home was the only option to fulfill the project needs, the opportunity to move the Kitchen towards the backyard was the best improvement gained. This move allowed us to add a walk-in pantry between the Garage and the new Kitchen, creating more storage but also adding a functional landing space in the darkest corner of the house. Having an open floorplan to connect the formerly separated Kitchen, Living Room and the Dining Room was happily welcomed by the clients. Then Entry was also opened up and improved with new furniture. (This project was initially designed by Esin Karliova while working at Remodel West, a Design-Build Company, and completed by Studio Karliova.)
